Countless photographers as well as other lunar fans made their way to the Naples Pier to grab a glimpse of the rare super moon as it place early Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, in Naples. The super rat happened using a blue skies, defined as the second full moon of the calendar month, as well as a lunar eclipse that was visible around the West Coast of the U.S. and around the Pacific. The eclipse was referred to as a blood moon due to its reddish tint.
